Authorization & Acknowledgement of Guidelines

All agreements are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. It is your responsibility to have holding tanks and porta pottys empty, and fuel tanks should be ¾ filled before winterization is performed. Nine Marina will be more than happy to assist with this for labor, materials, and fuel.

If your boat will be on internal heat and/or engine compartment heat, Nine Marina cannot be held responsible in case of a power loss. Please advise us if your boat will be on internal and/or engine compartment heat, and for a fee we will perform periodic inspections on your boat in the event of a power loss.

  • Nine Marina will not be responsible for any boat not winterized unless this authorization is submitted. If freezing weather sets in before we have received your authorization, Nine Marina will accept no responsibility.
  • De-winterizing of your boat in the spring will be necessary and is NOT included in this agreement. Nine Marina assumes no responsibility for improperly de-winterized boats performed by owners or outside vendors. Summerize forms will be sent to you in early spring.
  • Fuel stabilizer additive will vary with fuel tank capacity. Stabilizer will be added to the fuel tank unless otherwise noted by customer.
  • Service performed at private docks will have an added service charge depending on the distance from Nine Marina.

Important: Due to the number of boats in the marina, service call customers, and drive-up customers, please submit your authorization as soon as possible. In the event of a snap freeze, boats are winterized in the order the authorizations were received.
